2026 REGISTRATION

  • Please email at mystory@laplumecontest.com for any inquiries past the deadline. 

REGISTER ONLINE IN 1, 2 OR 3 STEPS as follows:

1) Fill out the online registration form below and click “submit”. If you are the teacher applying, please also fill out your information in your section at the bottom of the page with your comment to indicate it is you. No further action is required on your part, and there will be no application fee for your student(s). A follow-up email will be sent out to you and the parent(s). 

2) Fill out the Parental Authorization Form below (mandatory for any applicant or the manuscript will not be eligible for judging) and email it to mystory@laplumecontest.com.  If you are 18 years of age or older, just fill out the special section on that form for you, sign and email it. 

3) Unless it is waived, please pay online below the one-time entry fee of $10. It will go to arts be you, inc, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization sponsoring La Plume. The fee is waived for students in need, for any student applied by their current school teacher, and for Miami-Dade homeschooled students.

3) Unless the fee is waived, please pay below La Plume one-time $10 Entry Fee.
